They are small, black and really anything but beautiful. Meant are the nasty little blackheads on the nose. Our tip: with homemade blackhead strips you'll get rid of them quickly.

The use of blackhead strips is enjoying incredible popularity in this day and age. A bit gentler than the "radical cure" with the black mask, but according to many fans at least as effective. But if you want to treat your skin to this special treatment on a regular basis, preferably once a week, you will not be spending a lot of money on it. No question: blackhead strips, whether from the drugstore or from the perfumery, cost a lot of money. It is so easy to produce them with only two ingredients. Another good news: you certainly have both ingredients at home.

Making blackhead strips yourself

So you make the strips yourself and apply them correctly

Ingredients:

  • Gelatin
  • Milk

Preparation and application:

1- First mix the two ingredients together and then heat them briefly in the microwave. The result is a light-weight pulp that helps to gently and effectively cleanse your skin.

After you've heated everything, you let the mass cool down.

2- As the mass cools, you should cleanse your face. This is important because excess fat would otherwise ensure that the strips do not work properly!

3-Now you're ready to go. Wear your blackhead strip where you want to clean your pores very thoroughly. As a rule, treatment in the so-called T zone is particularly useful here.

4- Now you need a little patience. Allow the gelatin-milk mix to dry for a minimum of 20 minutes. This is important because otherwise, you will not exhaust the care effect completely. Then you can remove the blackhead strip from your skin.

The final result:

The homemade blackhead strips are more effective than many still assume. The mixture of gelatin and milk ensures that skin impurities are safely and permanently removed. Proof? Then just look at the peeled layer of milk and gelatin. Here you will find the famous little black dots, which are not supposed to have anything in your skin, right? In addition to the blackheads, it is not uncommon to also get rid of dead skin cells and annoying hairs.

So you see: the blackhead strips are not only cheap to manufacture but also extremely "strong". The only drawback for some users, however, is the smell of the mass. Due to the gelatin and its associated heat development, you may find the smell of the mass a little uncomfortable. Here only helps: air and pamper the face afterward with fragrant care.

Blackhead strips with "extra" - activated carbon for an antibacterial effect

Even if the effect you achieve with the help of the gelatin-milk mixture, already convincing, you can optimize the final result if necessary, a little further. If you want, you can also add a bit of activated carbon to your strips before applying. This again has a particularly antibacterial effect and additionally cleanses the skin. By the way, there are no paint residues left on your skin. Remains you can, as with the "normal" variant, in retrospect simply wash off.

Skin cleanser with activated carbon you can find in the drugstore. But for your own blackhead strips, you need the coal in a nearly pure state. Therefore, you best use the classic tablet form, which you, for example, take in diarrhea.

Take this charcoal tablet, put it in a plastic bag and work it with a small hammer or rolling pin until all that's left is powder. That's what you mix with the gelatin and the milk. Finished! The perfect care for impure skin.
